Message from the Campus Chief

Shanker Dev Campus (SDC), located at the heart of Kathmandu metropolitan city, is effortlessly reachable from any corner of the Kathmandu valley. SDC, as the pioneer constituent campus of Tribhuvan University (TU), is synonymous to management education in Nepal. Thus, it has become the premier duty of SDC to produce world- class standard manpower targeting the global need. Additionally, SDC is conscious of its duty of upholding the image of TU. SDC houses highly professional, dedicated, and competent faculty as required who focus onproducing world-class management manpower.

SDC offers Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor in Information Management (BIM), Bachelor in Business Management (BBM),  Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance (BBA-F), Master in Business Studies (MBS) and Master in Business Management (MBM). SDC untiringly supplies middle level and top level managers through the programs it has been offering to the management students joining SDC from every corner of this nation. BBS is based on annual system, whereas BBA, BIM, BBM, BBA-F, MBS and MBM are semester system programs.

It is a matter of pride to be able to supply professionals who are capable of working in the fast paced, competitive andhigh tech modern business environment. As a result, SDChas become the first choice of Nepalese students wishing to pursue management studies.

SDC has its ultimate objective of educating students forprofessional pursuits in business, industry, and government dedicated to contributing for enhancing the knowledge and understanding of business and public administration. SDC aims: (1) to develop networking with management institutes in the country and abroad to exchange new knowledge, technology and methods of higher level efficiency in management of business and public entities, (2) to produce socially responsible and creative entrepreneurs capable of promoting business and industry for the socio-economic development of Nepal, (3) to conduct research and management development programs for enhancing the knowledge and skill base of academics and practicing managers, (4) to develop managers for public sector with competency in public policy management and governance.
